Neyer and I talk “Blunders”

5th April 2006

If you have a masochistic side to you, then I suggest you pick up Rob Neyer’s soon-to-be released book on baseball blunders. The sale of Ruth to the Yankees, Grady Little leaving Pedro in the game during Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS, the Mariners hiring Maury Wills, and the owners colluding to keep player salaries down in the late ’80s are just a few offereings. On the latter… I get a guest contributor nod.

Since Neyer and I live in the same city (Portland), we sat down and decided that an interview on the book might be more fun than me doing a review of it… big surprise there.

To read my article/interview with Rob Neyer, you can read it here on The Hardball Times.

There is also a link in the Interview Archives pane to the right here on The Baseball Journals. Look for “Rob Neyer On Blunders”.
